The Boss: When do I fire myself ?
When Donald Trump says you are fired, it looks very easy and practically funny for the watchers of the TV series "The apprentice". Before long the catch phrase "you are fired" became synonymous with bosses indiscriminately firing their employees with the catch phrase oozing from every corner of the board room to the common room.
Well in most organizations the boss has the right to hire and fire right away especially when there is sufficient evidence of slothfulness or incompetence. That is when all things are equal or if policies of the organization allow those loopholes that the boss can capitalize to unilaterally fire a staff.Again it could be that the organization is a very small one that have not yet developed a sustainable robust HR.
The above however, painted a gloomy picture of the helpless employees who their future can be quickly decided on the table of invincible boss on one hand and on another, a bigger picture of where a precocious boss has to go through the HR.to execute whatever grudges he has with any employee perhaps limiting himself to specific recommendations only.
The question now is, is there gonna ever be a situation when the boss will like to "fire" himself. Fire might be a strange word, nobody including the CEOs would like to hear that, may be, we shall use this word "resign" or this phrase "step aside" shall we?.Yes they are much better terminologies, reluctantly acceptable by many.
We have seen many CEO come and go, but who decides when they will actually go. Sometimes they are fired by the board,or asked to step aside or resign for some reasons like age and health. It might also be an end of tenure after completion of company rotational or leadership policy.
So what happens if the boss has unlimited tenure leadership and no one has asked him to resign or step aside,is it possible he drops his head down and say yes I need to go, it is time I fired myself, this is it, this is the Rubicon a point of no return. At what point can he make those difficult decisions?.
Let us not paint the whole scenario bad, because most often a CEO can decide to lay himself off for very good positive reasons especially when he allows his head to think more than his heart. In other words it is not all bad news whenever you hear that a CEO has resigned or about to resign,it might just be the beginning of a new dawn in that organization.
Let us consider situations when a CEO can decide to go(all things being equal):
1.For strategic reasons (like merger etc)
2.When you think you are not good enough(telling yourself the inner truth).
3.If the org.has grown bigger than you.
4.When you run out of new ideas.
5.If you can identify better hand amongst your assistants.
6.For legal reasons(he might come back afterwards)
Are you a CEO of any business and you are thinking about staying as long as possible to protect your integrity or your personality than to save your company and give it an opportunity for greater heights?. Common, consider the above listed reasons, you might be doing yourself and your company a great deal of help by resigning honorably and allowing someone more capable to take over.
You have got a choice, is either you take a bow or you and your company will inevitably take a bow from the business world.

Successful Job interview Techniques
Successful Job interview Techniques tips
Hi, Welcome to my blog.I will be giving out some tips on successful job interview techniques.
The recent economic crisis has made it difficult to secure a job very easily like before. What we seem to have now are more sack letters than employment letters. However the idea of going to job interviews these days is more ritualistic than realistic.
People tend to go carry out a "call of duty",by attending interviews if you like but not actually going fully out to grab the job.The reason is simple, There are more and more people chasing a few post in any given vacancy than before.
There are fewer vacancies chased by many and over the limit candidates. A recent advert to fill Zoo vacancies in London which would have attracted fewer candidates few months ago saw a response beyond the imagination of the advertisers, over 500 applicants turned up.
No matter how you may see the situation, bad or even worst, there are still many people landing jobs and jobs they never thought off everyday.
How do they do this? Simple, yes simple. Remember the saying, that only tough people survive tough times.
I suggest you invest time and energy to seek expert opinion on how to land a good job.Landing a job of your choice is determined by how well you prepare for it.
Like I have been saying in my other blogs, Preparations I am mean here is all inclusive .It does include more than just knowing the job or what sample questions will look like or whether you have attended the interview several times and are familiar with the terrain.
I strongly believe every expert in this field will quite agree with me here. To be honest there is no hard and fast rules about this but there are important steps to follow if you must be successful.
These four basic steps will help.(the 5th step is for premium service only)
1.Question time: Am I qualified academically and skill wise for this job.Do I have experience to carry out this job if I eventually get on it. Do I go for direct employment or go through agency?
2.Expectations: What will the interview panelist be looking out for? What do they want from me physically, mentally and otherwise?
My dressing,my looks, my health?
3.Network: Does the job require any network leveraging? If yes can I pull it up together and nicely too? What is the history of the company or organization I want to work for? Who are the competitors e.t.c
4.Packaging: What does my CV look like? Can I represent my CV as it presents me?Your CV can either make you or break you.
5.Other issues: Privileged information for clients.Having this information can give you invaluable advantage at job interviews so email me at patebuzormin@gmail.com and get more info. for Job interview techniques.

I can Do it attitude-what has it got to do with me?
I remember what one of my Fate Foundation instructors in those early days of the institution, Prof.Pat Utomi kept on saying repeatedly during one of his lectures,"I can do it attitude". He mentioned it over six times whilst during this lecture and stressed it each time he says it.
So folks if you want to see how this applies to you in details and how you or your organisation can benefit from this sought -after attitude then email me at patebuzormin@gmail.com. I will send to you a detailed information on how you can benefit from this for free or better still invite my team for a seminar in your organisation.
When I got home I went into a deep thought of what could possibly drive someone to say yes I can do it no matter what. Well could it be ego, stupidity or arrogance? otherwise why would someone say he can do what he could not possible do after all.
With a clearer understanding, I eventually began to notice humility and interest as the fundamental factors that motivates someone to make that assumption. Someone might say determination, well, you are not far from the truth, but determination only comes in when you are humble, interested to learn, interested in patience and interested in pursuit.
So determination is that inner strength that will showcase other factors when presented with a position of challenge.
In the light of the above you can see that not everyone who says I can do it can actually do it. There are some underlying factors that he or she must ultimately possess before his "I can do it attitude" drives him to success.
There is a saying and in fact one of my favorites that says"your attitude determines your altitude". In other words your character and behavior are great catalyst that carries you a long way into whatever you want to do or achieve.
The Limitations of "I can Do it attitude".
For me there are no limitations to who can apply "I can do it attitude", it goes a long way in whatever and wherever you may find yourself in life really.
I can do it attitude is applicable in all spheres of life whether you are a CEO of a company or an organisation, management, old and new staff and most importantly would-be applicants.
This attitude cannot be limited by physical strength or ability but the character within. It is a practicable attitude that comes from within and must be demonstrated with sincerity and truthfulness.
It is not only sought after by all human resources departments but by many modern managers and leaders of industries today. It is a simple etiquette in operational routine but necessarily a hidden quality that can have a great impact on your personality and office.
Quick Benefits
I can do it attitude can position you to a lot of benefits namely
1. Promotion
2. Recommendation for recognition
3. Job placement
4. Rewards.

How do I start something from Nothing?
Many hate to hear this phrase "just start something" because it undermines a big question, how do I start something from nothing? Start something from where please? I have got nothing.
Realistically, it can be a difficult situation for many people, I have once been in that situation but my experience in escaping that teething problems as I later would like to call it and that of many people I have now associated with is what I would like to share with you.
The experience has been tested severally and has found to be successful on many occasions. The biggest challenge many of my clients have, is being patient enough to understand what I mean by starting from nothing. Indeed there is no situation as nothing even though it is called and referred to as "Nothing" .
You can agree with me that the word nothing is frightening and sounds unbelievable to a person who does not have anything, no physical cash,no property he can convert to cash and no where he can borrow cash or where he can freely say is a home where people can seek and find him.
In my own case I had a catalog of problems just like many people today, living in a rented apartment, no savings, no idea of a business to do, no idea of how to go about those business that always flash across my mind from time to time, if any eventually stay in my mind I can not develop the idea or have the ability to transform any idea into a reality.
Are you seeing yourself having the same problems like I mentioned above or anything similar that have poised a difficult hurdle to cross, do not worry we can help you. Write to me at patebuzormin@gmail.com and I will send to you a step by step empowerment solution on how you can start Something from Nothing.
Before then think about these and make it a habit.
1.Think about any help you can give yourself to make your life better in your living room, bedroom, dinning and kitchen .
2.While you walk around the town or city or village think about what you can give that community that can improve or help their lives.
3.While in school, work place, church, library, think about what you can do to help yourself and other people enjoy the services and materials in and around the facility you are using.
4.As you think about all these, also think of how those your "help "can improve lives and benefit all even though it will cost them money.
5.Lastly evaluate the value of that help or services to the cost you are giving it out and how you too can benefit from it.
Congratulations, something started is something half done, send me an email today and begin a journey of greatness where your fortune is set to change for the better.
